Limit switch for ECG series motors(KIG 1)

The KIG switch is mounted in the terminal box of the electric hoist lifting motor. KIG-serves as a limit switch in the upper and lower position of the hook. KIG is made of non-flammable, fire-proof plastic that can withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees C.

      The limit switch, built into the motor housing, is used to limit the extreme positions of the load. It eliminates the movement of the lifting mechanism in two directions - when lifting and lowering the load, depending on how the restriction rings are installed on the rod that serves to actuate the limit switch.

To use the full lifting height of the electric hoist, the limit rings on the rod must be installed as follows:

The limiting ring on the motor side is set at such a distance from the housing flange that at the upper extreme position of the lifting hook, the minimum distance between the lowest point of the electric hoist, in this case - the lower edge of the electric hoist housing with a load capacity of 500kg to 8000 kg. and the lower edge of the suspension of electric hoists with a load capacity of 12500 kg, and the highest point of the lifting hook (in this case, the uppermost face of the hook covers) is not less than 100 mm. The limiting ring on the side of the planetary gear is installed at such a distance from the housing flange that the pressure ring of the cable-laying machine does not rest against the housing flange on the side of the gear. When the restriction rings are adjusted, their bolts are tightened.
